Pinarayi Vijayan to be next Kerala CM: Report

The CPI(M) on Friday named Pinarayi Vijayan as Kerala’s 22^nd Chief Minister. In a meeting chaired by CPI(M). General Secretary, Sitaram Yechury took the decision to end the fight between Pinarayi Vijayan and veteran VS Achuthanandan. However, Achuthanandan, aged 92, was the star campaigner for CPI(M), in its massive win of 91 seats in the 140-member Assembly on Thursday.
