Piggyback Payloads Flying on NASA’s Super Balloon


US space agency NASA has launched a super pressure balloon from New Zealand's Wanaka Airport. The balloon, which floats at an altitude of 33.5km, will circumnavigate the globe once in every 1-3 weeks, depending on wind speed. The new mission is to test the Super Pressure Balloon technology that will could provide an inexpensive way to access near-space environment.
