Nokia to terminate over 1,000 jobs in Finland

Once the biggest mobile phone maker, Nokia said that it will be terminating more than 1000 jobs in Finland. Reportedly the termination process will be completed by 2018. Nokia has about 104,000 employess worldwide, of which 7000 are in Finland. Apparently, this step is taken to manage the savings target of EUR 900 million in its annual costa. Nokia sola its handset business to Microsoft in 2014.
